Ice Skating at Lake Louise
hello. This is Miki’s Honey, MikiHani.
Today’s story is about ice skating.
There are many ice rinks in Calgary and Edmonton. Well, this is a natural fact in Canada, the country of ice hockey.
But this time, instead of skating at an indoor ice rink, it’s skating at the Rocky Mountain tourist attraction Lake Louise!
haha. Lake Louise in the summer is really busy, people are bustling and the parking lot is full all day, but I don’t think there are many people who have been to Lake Louise in the winter. Perhaps that’s why many people don’t know that Lake Louise turns into a skating rink in the winter.
First, let’s look at a photo.
Cool, right? Create about 3 or 4 rinks in the lake like this.
Use of the skating rink is free, but you must bring your own skates. It seemed like they also offer rentals, but just rent one before you go. I think it would be cheaper to rent one downtown.
If you go on the right date, you can see ice sculptures like this.
And I also admired this wonderful Lake Louise Hotel.
If you don’t have skates, you can take a walk in the snow like this.
So, shall we go skating at Lake Louise this weekend? Gogo!

Ah! Now that I think about it, you can see a cross-country ski track in the photo above, right? lol
It might be fun to bring cross-country skis and try them out.
