Marriott chain hotel Moxy opens in Banff!

Today I bring you news of a new hotel launch.

It’s always fun to talk about hotels^^

Yesterday, while announcing the news of a hot deal sale on hotels in the Kananaskis area (a neighborhood next to Banff), I accessed the Marriott site on my PC for the first time in a while. But… .. That phrase makes my heart flutter!!!

Is Moxy in Banff?

This is ridiculous.

Because. What is the concept of the brand called Moxy!!

Wait a minute here!! Learn about the brand called MOXY

Moxy is a brand hotel under the Marriott family.

As you can see in the table below, it is one of the SELECT brands (meaning low price^^).

This is a reasonably priced hotel.

A hotel with a brand image targeting millennials

It has a hip and stylish interior and auxiliary facilities.

(In other words! It’s not luxurious. Haha)

Check-in is also done at the bar located at the hotel entrance.

Another unique feature is that free welcome drinks are provided without discrimination.

​

​

Moxy is a brand introduced to the world when it first opened in Milan in 2014.

It can be said to be a new hotel brand.

​

Is there such a hip hotel in Banff???

With only 39 properties in North America, it’s really surprising that Moxy, the second one to launch in Canada, is located in Banff.

​

Banff’s image and Moxy seem to fit together in some way, but they also seem to be too far apart.

Does Banff want to get younger??? She had an idea and then…

It seems like the hip vibe of Moxy goes well with hip snowboarders…

Moxy is a hotel that originally specialized in small-sized rooms^^

So… they levitate all the furniture.

But… oh~~ is it also North America?

Everything is wide and large. This is really big and spacious.

​

Plus, the interior is very pretty.

​

​

It’s a shame that the photos released on the Moxy website are like this.

I’m surprised that Moxy has an interior like this.

(It’s a pretty cheap version of the interior, but the Banff moxie looks pretty good^^)

But what’s even more surprising is!!

There is a swimming pool.

Ah, there’s a swimming pool and hot tub at Moxy?

Everything about Moxy Banff is so amazing.

​

Point reservations have been open since March. It starts from 30,000.

​

Even in the peak season of July/August, I think this amount of point deduction is okay considering the cost of hotels in Banff city.

Even now as I’m finishing this post, I’m still amazed.

If there was a Marriott in Banff, I would agree. Or at least it would have made more sense if it had been a hotel with a kitchen, like a Courtyard or a Residence Inn.
